Scripture cards

Here's the three cards that started all the madness; hope they post better this time!

I had a fun day today @ the Rubber Stamp & Scrapbook Expo in Greeley. I met up with some good friends, made some new ones and got some good ideas. Susan Mostek and I are working on a plan for her to come & teach again in October. Watch the blog for that announcement. She's working on some gorgeous cards!

Guess who fixed her blog???

Wow, wish I had those 6 hours of my life back.  Oh, well, its done now and I can get back to creating and posting.  I'll try sending those Scripture card images AGAIN.  Sure hope I don't start this whole mess over again.  Even if I do, I think I can figure out how to fix it faster.  Hopefully, I've learned SOMETHING!!  ;p

You gotta come and see me Saturday!

Because Friday afternoon, I'm getting one of my most anticipated papers ever!  The conversavory line from 7 Gypsies.  Completely gorgeous.  You gotta see it.

A Bit of a Mess......

My blog is sort of messed up right now.  Sorry!  Please be patient with me while we (okay, mostly Rick) get it sorted out and back to running and looking like we'd like it to.  Stay tuned.....

New class-Scripture cards

I don't have pictures yet, but I'm putting up this class just the same. I'll post pics asap.

I'm doing a class next Friday morning (August 27 @ 9 a.m.). We'll do three designs, 3 cards and envelopes each. It will feature Our Daily Bread and Penny Black stamps. You can call the store to sign up. I'll also try and get it up on the website so you can sign up there, as well.

Class space is limited, first come, first serve.

I'll post again in a day or so with what you need to bring.

Yeah! I'm glad to be doing classes again, hope to see you.

A six pack of happiness....... or something

My son works in a great restaurant (Poppy's on the river, try it!) and brings home these six packs of exotic beers. I started eyeing all those six packs (they ARE made of paper!!) and thought they might make a fun project. So I started by sanding and painting the carton with acrylic paints.
I used Claudine Hellmuth's Studio line of paints. I stamped Tim Holtz super large flourish in alabaster chalk ink.
And let the embellishment begin! This one will house jars and spray bottles on my desk.

I made another one for a friend who came and stayed with us in June. I put a water bottle, a bottle of lotion, a rolled up T-shirt and some other things in the sections for her for a hostess gift.
Interested in a class? Call the store..... we'll make it happen!

New a New Post

Wow, my blog is way out of date! Things have been crazy, but I'll put up some new stuff tomorrow. I've been working on some new projects, new cards and putting together ideas for classes. I've got a few thing up my sleeve....... Woo hoo!!

So that's it. Sleepy girl. Check me out tomorrow.
