Meet Laura Lodge!

This is my sweet friend, Laura Lodge.  Laura came in with this adorably creative card and I asked her if I could share it with you.  Laura has a lot of integrity and asked me to be sure and credit Angie Leach with the inspiration for this design, which I am happy to do.
You can see Angie's blog here.
Laura started with a light blue textured cardstock ( Stonewashed Bazzill cardstock here).  She blended Faded Jeans Distress Ink (what else?) over the cardstock and sanded the edges a little for age. What a cute blue jean effect! The rivets on the pockets are gold brads.
Punch an even set of holes in the cardstock (Tim Holtz Design Ruler makes this easy) and connect the dots with a yellow opaque marker.  This is great for me since I'm really, really good at not-sewing.  :-)
A super cute detail is Laura's idea for the belt.  She used brown cardstock and embossed it to give it a faux leather look.  So proud of you, Laura, great job!!
